Santa Fe, New Mexico take 2

While my parents were here visiting, the hubby had a client call in New Mexico. We decided to make it an impromptu family mini vacation and invited the in-laws to join us for our 12 hour road trip.

On the way up, we also decided to stop at Roswell, New Mexico and visit the UFO museum and take a driving break.

While in Santa Fe, we had some fun in the snow. 20 miles from our hotel, we drove up the mountains and Eidan got to play in the snow for the very first time. See this video Eidan walking on the snow from our YouTube channel.

It was cold!

Santa Fe, is definitely turning into one of my fave places. I love how warm and friendly the people are, and the food is just delicious! Needless to say, we all enjoyed our quick mini weekend vacation!

Reunited

When Eidan woke up 2 weeks ago, he got a big surprise- Lolo and Ola Judy were here at our house!
Eidan stared at his Lolo for a few seconds then he broke into a big smile as he realized who it was.
Needless to say, someone has been nonstop spoiled these past few days!

Love is in the air

Our good friends, Sharon and Steven,  got married this past weekend. It was such a beautiful wedding and a solemn ceremony.

Beautiful ceremony

Father and Daughter dance. I cried so much at this moment

It reminded me of the vows I made almost 9 years ago. Sometimes its easy to get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of life and responsibilities and lose sight of what those promises are. I am grateful that my husband and I choose to learn from the challenges we have faced and continue to grow as individuals and as a couple. I firmly believe that marriage, any relationship for that matter, IS hard work because you can't be complacent about it. You need to work on it and make every moment as special as you can make it to be.

We had to have cigars too!

And of course, before this all went down, we had to have a Bachelorette party!! Two weeks before the wedding, a few of the bridesmaids and brides friends and I spent the weekend in Austin. It was also Mardi Gras weekend, so it was great fun! What happens at the Bachelorette stays with the Bachelorettes!
