I mentioned in a previous post that Eidan and I would be travelling to the Philippines this January. I deliberated for so many days whether I would pirchase a seat for him or just lap carry him for the whole flight (20-27 hour flight!). After my initial hesitation, largely due to the expensive ticket prices, I gave in and got him his own ticket. And boy, am I glad I did! Eidan behaved so well on the flight going and returning, but he was so curious about everything and everyone that we spent a lot of the time running up and down the aisle, visiting with the flight crew, making friends with the other passengers, and generally doing everything but sleeping! I'm stilll very thankful though that our flight to and from the Philippines went wiithout a hitch and that he did not seem affected by the change of air pressure, or even get hit with jetlag!
It was great seeing family and friends, and I could see how happy Eidan was to meet his aunt and uncle, his cousins there, and just generally be the center of attention!

And since we were already there, I took Eidan with me to the Bureau of Immigration and filed for his Dual Citizenship. After 6 hours, my little man officially became a Dual Citizen of the United States and the Philippines!
