When Eidan woke up 2 weeks ago, he got a big surprise- Lolo and Ola Judy were here at our house!
Eidan stared at his Lolo for a few seconds then he broke into a big smile as he realized who it was.
Needless to say, someone has been nonstop spoiled these past few days!

Love is in the air
Our good friends, Sharon and Steven, got married this past weekend. It was such a beautiful wedding and a solemn ceremony.

It reminded me of the vows I made almost 9 years ago. Sometimes its easy to get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of life and responsibilities and lose sight of what those promises are. I am grateful that my husband and I choose to learn from the challenges we have faced and continue to grow as individuals and as a couple. I firmly believe that marriage, any relationship for that matter, IS hard work because you can't be complacent about it. You need to work on it and make every moment as special as you can make it to be.

And of course, before this all went down, we had to have a Bachelorette party!! Two weeks before the wedding, a few of the bridesmaids and brides friends and I spent the weekend in Austin. It was also Mardi Gras weekend, so it was great fun! What happens at the Bachelorette stays with the Bachelorettes!

Afternoon at the Library and the Park
I am so happy that Eidan loves books like I do. I finally took him to the local library aand he had a blast at the kid's section. And of course, we had to stop by the library park, which is fast becoming our favorite activity to do on weekends!
It was his first time on the toddler swing, and at first he seemed scared until he finally got the hang of it. See video here .His favorite at the park, by far, is going up the stairs and down the slide. He has learned how to go up and down the stairs so well, holding tight to the railings and really concentrating on where he places his feet.
I enjoy our park dates because growing up, I loved spending time outdoors playing. I firmly believe that nothing beats good old sunshine, breathing in fresh air, and getting dirt and grass stains on your pants. Its all part of being a kid!
